That could have been me on the bottom if I had locked my self out of the house. I knew there was reason that Buck was making me so nervous. I think I am going to call him Pepe Le Pue.

Marinade
Salt
Coarse, Ground Black Pepper
Green Onion Tops or Dried Chives
Worchestershire Sauce to cover Sauce
(Boil together)
1 Cup Butter
1/4 Cup Lemon Juice-more for a stronger lemon flavor
2 Teaspoons Salt
1 Teaspoon Pepper
2 Tablespoons Worchestershire Sauce
2 Diced Jalapeno Peppers
Marinate Venison Steaks for 30 minutes to 2 hours to absorb flavor. The longer the time, the stronger the flavor. Remove Venison Steaks from Marinade. Apply sauce to marinated steaks before grilling on low coals till centers are hot and pink to taste. Baste with sauce during grilling and after removing from fire.

Attention Spanky
Spanky:
Our ratings have declined. Would you be so kind as to post something again? Something stream of consciousness with that hint of sensitive guy/nature lover/head injury that went over so well last week? Thanks in advance.

I am afraid things are pretty dead in the yard today. No sign of Bambi and friends since the rain drove them off. As soon as they come back you will be the first to know.

My mom recently found 2 dead rattlesnakes that had gotten themselves tangled in the bird netting above the chicken pen. She hadn't noticed them until they started to smell.

Is this the same accident prone mother? She was lucky they were dead when she found them.

Agreed. She recently bought a 12-gauge, which is overkill for dealing with snakes, but she has also started shooting sporting clays as well. The first time she used it on a snake, she shot, and the snake disappeared. She was concerned that it was still alive and started looking for it. She found the tail nearby and eventually found the head about 30 yards away. She never found anything in between, but was satisfied that the snake was effectively neutralized.
