And this admininistration has hardly been adverse to exploiting 9/11 and the war in Iraq to score partisan points.

• Both the Clinton and earlier Bush Administrations had made wetland protection a priority, but the current Bush Administration has not announced any comprehensive wetlands policies.

Oh the repayment is warranted. No doubt. But I hate that sort of dishonesty coming from either side.

And I don't buy the scientific claim that Bush's policies contributed to the wetalnds problem. From what I read, thats a problem that will take decades to reverse.
