Eh, too heavy-handed. If you make 14 points every time it can obscure the one really good one you should have stuck to.

To invoke the words of Slave responding to Ty on the above:

Gatti, you owe me the last 2 minutes of my life back

Penske is no chicken hawk. He couldn't get in the military because he SEEMED gay, even though he's not. NTTWBAWWIIHW.

As for the chickenhawk comment, read up you ignorant slut, we dealt with this subject last week. I looked into enlisting.

I.AM.TOO.OLD!!!

They wouldn't take me. If you can't keep up with assigned reading from last week, don't expect that Ty will allow you to participate in the meaningful discussions now ensuing.
Weed said nothing about enlistment, just a ticket to Iraq. There are lots of opportunities in the private security industry in Iraq. You'd be saving the world and making a fortune. And you wouldn't be metaphorically dying for Haliburton, but rather literally dying for Haliburton. Bonus!

1. Are there are a shortage of private contractors in Iraq?

2. Why should Americans be taking jobs from Iraqis? Have they acheived functionally full employment already?

June Cleaver would never say God like that. "Oh, for goodness' sake, " perhaps. Maybe even "for heaven's sake," on a bad day.
Dude, he said "Joan Cleaver"

I think it was John Cheever.

The same one George's fiance's father slept with.

1. No cite, but that's my understanding.

2. I'm not saying it's right, but a lot of companies would rather trust their security to Americans than to Iraqis. You've already had a gun pointed at you and survived. I think that makes you completely qualified. My point is don't waste time reasoning why fortune has smiled upon you; just go.

Not a shortage, so much as limitless employment opportunities. You don't think those Billions appropriated are just gonna sit in an account forever, do you?

Its apples and oranges. Service is about civic duty. Private enterprise......thank allah, they can't afford me.

Eh, I'd rather invest in the real estate bubble, plus, as below, they can't afford me. Yet.

Oh, you should reconsider. All those stories about supply problems for American soldiers? Not a fuckin' problem, man. Better yet, as a merc you're not constrained by the MCOJ, if you know what I'm saying.

And the pay? So high, I heard that the GA stripper (Brazil?) is there, driving a dump truck, and happily so.

He did. But that hass nothing to do with the fact that you and penske are Chickenhawks. Apples aand oranges, my man.

If you were draftable, you'd never support this war. Everybody knows that. What does Iron's getting a Kerry email have to do that accusation? The fact that he was instigated to cite a fact by political leanings doesn't make erase the fact.

Or does it? If you watch television these days, arguing past the point raised seems to be a valid rebuttal. But then, everyone on television arguing has shit for brains.

Funny, as a kid, they told me TV would make me an idiot. But a whole lotta adults seem to follow its lead. Maybe I should watch more. Learn myself some debatin skills.
