From what's been said so far, it seems that Sidd will end up mixing it up with Sarah from Joe $$$. At least if the speculation about his fascination with feet is correct.
Oh, Sidd, show me your Brobeck buster!
No, Sarah, not until you bare your dirty Achilles' heel!
Everyone, take off your socks.

Friend Gathering.
So, when is the rest of the game from infirmation going to join us on this new board? Although this board is doing pretty well, the value of the bulletin board increases on the order of the square of the number of users. So, it would be nice to see some more of the old gang.
So, I propose we each find two people (either that we know, or that we've seen post on infirmation) and invite them to come check out the new board in all it's glory. What say ye?

Oh, I see. I wasn't thinking in those terms, I just think Chuck has (or at least had) a better screen presence, especially with the "dead cold hand" quote.

firm advice
I'm a biotech transactions associate headed to the bayarea from a boston firm and need help deciding where to go. I'm trying to decide between the life science practices of Cooley or Heller Ehrman in Palo Alto. If anyone has any advice or suggestions, could you please post them or email me at rpenn_2000@hotmail.com Thanks!

Are you interested in litigation or patent prosecution?
For biotech patent prosecution, Heller Ehrman would likely be the better choice. Ginger Dreger just joined the firm, and brought with her hoards of work from Genentech, Applied Biosystems, and a few other Biotech heavy hitters. Ginger used to work in-house at Genentech, and gets a big pipeline of work.
As for patent litigation, if limited to those two I would choose Cooley. Cooley has a broader base of clients, and seems to have the better IP-lit reputation of those two firms.
Good luck, and congratulations on getting two offers in this economy.

Thanks so much for the information. I'm actually looking into "deals" type work in the life science space (strategic alliances, licensing, M&A...etc). Any further advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

I think your catsuit is getting too tight (time to put down the Krispy Kreme). Strungout said em is a biotech transactions attorney, so that would be neither of your choices.
Between the two, Cooley is more known as a life sciences powerhouse, but Heller is quickly making a strong name for itself. Add to that that Cooley is having certain internal bickerings and fights among the partners as the economy is still sucking wind here, and Heller might be a great place to be.
How did you feel during the interviews about the people you met? About the atmosphere at the firms in general?
Feel free to email or pm me about either or both firms.

It's really been awhile since Deucey has gone all den-motherish on us. Y'know, the whole "It doesn't really matter which place people think is better, just which people you thought were the swellest."
Anyway. This is my day so far....

Oh, gosh, I had imagined that he would play Tower. Does this mean that you like to do goofy card tricks or that you can make a firm fall like a house of cards? Not that they are mutually exclusive.

Considering that it's been about six years since he's been on TV, by now Harry Anderson is probably plenty bitter and mean enough to play Less.
I was thinking more Craig Kilbourne, however.
