Not enough of them. That's why I'm wasting so much time here these days.

If you move there, you will be the only one who cares about the answer to that question. Manhattan is nothing if not diverse, so I say, Go for it!

Hear, hear. As the one who gave wonking its name, I have to insist that anything within 24 hours is deemed timely. Otherwise, the charming idiosyncrasy that is wonking is lost.

I don't think the particular thought, that if Nixon was as ruthless as Clinton became then Clinton would never had happened, has yet to be thrown out. There is an interesting string theory quality to it. While Penske tries to narrow applicable times I would like to become unstuck in time much like Billy Pilgrim.

I can't. We Rs are actually much, much less snarky than commonly thought.
Oh, okay, I can't say that with a straight face at all.

If you want to discuss the current PLO leadership, then why not acknowledge that the current leadership has made anumber of arrests and also begun to take steps to deter the suicide bombings? They aren't completely successful, but an effort is being made.
?

It is a pattern of behavior that has occured multiple times before. Further, instead of just dismissing Arafat's words with your chimpishly thrown feces posts, read what he says. The past mission, nowhere repudiated with any sincereity was, do whatever it takes to sucker the West and Israel into giving us a foothold and then kill them all. Oh wait, he's dead, and forty years of policy and history magically terminated.

I hate to break it to you, they are still around and influential in politics. Jamie Gorelick/the 911 Commission report/Able Danger are relevant and direct results of the Clinton presidency. Further, one of the co-presidents is the leading candidate for the 2008 Dem nomination. Oh, wait, Clinton is not office and all effect of his presidency disappeared. And Hillary is a right wing Dem now.

With respect to Bush, I long ago agreed that it was largely irrelevant at this point whether or not there were ever any WMD. Take off your ideologue blinders, pay attention to what someone actually says, and respond to that, why don't you? The big issue in Iraq at this point, I would say the ONLY issue, is, since we're there, when is the Administration going to acknowledge (i) the fact that a larger, more expensive effort is needed and (ii) it's not going to be possible to cut taxes at the same time as this massive effort is being paid for. Not to mention, they still have to permanently kill the death tax, npi.
|
I think there are day to day policy statements and actions reflect what is going on. Any plan undergoes changes and corrections as it unfolds. They have stated the goal, from the start and I dont see them wavering. We had a referendum on it in November, the people approved the course of action. Other than giving it time to blossom, what more needs to be said? As for tax cuts, there is plenty of fat in the budget that can be taken out.

Yes.

Charming idiosyncrasy? Is that like endearing quirk? Because those are not that popular around here.

I'm not sure about being unstuck in time, but I would love to be able to fuck Valerie perrine as she was in the movie version.

Are you saying that there is not the slightest possibility Foster could have met with fowl play? I think there is, although its open whose hand was on the gun.

Senators represent the whole state Moron. It is a relevant issue even if the ignorant liberal fucks in Manhattan don't identify it as such.
Have you ever posted anything but stupidity?
