I think it means he is not as attracted to Sebby. Or that Sebby is a Dem and well, you know.

I figured that was the reason.
Do you enjoy yelling "nigger" at black people you disagree with?
Tomorrow's discussion, no doubt, will concern how Repubs never use racial or ethnic slurs, except when they are in jest, but Dems always really intend them. Look for the connection to support for affirmative action.

I think I've discovered the reasons behind your posting style.

Sidd, I am not the one who launches into name calling and ad hominem attacks when someone disagrees with me. I debate them on the substance.
Regarding what I was doing to you, you were acting like a fool so I mocked you.
As an aside, I think it is a really bad idea for blacks to let that word get such a reaction out of them. The way I have heard it explained, they feel they are taking ownership of the word and somehow this makes them feel empowered. IMO, the only people that are empowered by that are the people who can use the word and get such a strong reaction to it. It is a mistake to give a word and the people who use it that much power over you.

Sexism is, unfortunately, a reality in my life. However, I don't go ape shit when people at work say or do sexist things. That doesn't work to change their minds. It may get them to be less obvious about their sexism, but it usually only convinces them more that they are right in being sexist.
While I don't ignore it if I see it happening, I attempt to discuss it with the person in a reasoned and rational fashion. I find that my comments are much more well received when I approach the topic like that.

I've been debating you and others on substance for quite some time.
Hank's first post today was not a "disagreement" with me, nor an invitation to "debate substance." It was an attack, plain and simple, in which he accused me of being biased against Koreans and Italians. I responded by calling him the racist piece of shit that he is. Yes, I went over the top -- that was intentional, and intended to annoy him. I know, that was dangerous -- I risked his rapier-like wit calling me "stupid" again -- or maybe even "really, really stupid." Such is life.
You chose to use anti-Italian slurs the moment I identified myself as Italian. This speaks volumes about who you are.

Ashcroft on Gorelick

Why is Gorelick on this panel?!?!? Hardly unbiased.
I would say the Patriot Act has a good chance of being renewed.
quote: Mr. Ashcroft said that to the contrary, he personally went to the national security adviser, Condoleezza Rice, on March 7, 2001, and urged her to scuttle what he characterized as an ineffective policy of the Clinton administration specifying that Mr. bin Laden had to be captured, and only in a way that lawyers would approve.
"Even if they could have penetrated bin Laden's training camp, they would have needed a battery of attorneys to approve the capture," Mr. Ashcroft said sarcastically.
|
This is untrue. From Clarke's book:
"The first time I had propsed a snatch, in 1993, the White House Counsel, Lloyd Cutler, demanded a meeting with the President to explain how it violated international law. Clinton had seemed to be siding with Cutler until Al Gore belatedly joined the meeting, having just flown overnight from South Africa. Clinton recapped the arguments on both sides for Gore: Lloyd says this. Dick says that. Gore laughed and said, "That's a no-brainer. Of course it's a violation of international law, that's why it's a covert action. The guy is a terrorist. Go grab his ass." (p. 144)
You can also refer to a previous excerpt I posted here recounting how Clinton approved every snatch he was asked to review (tee hee).
Ashcroft lied.

Whoa, hold on right there Siddy. That "really, really" line is my material. Let's give credit where credit is due!

Umm, an italian hater?
Actually, some of my best lays have been italians. They don't call them italian stallions for nothing, YKWIM.
Oh and I love pizza. That ought to count for something.

I hope you at least pick the ones who shave under their arms. In the bay area, that isn't all that easy to find.
Correct me if I am wrong but the guys I know claim that all sex is good for them if the woman is good looking.

Right 'cuz the fact that Clarke wrote it in a book that he is selling for profit (now that he no longer has a job) proves that it is true.

Cite, please. I just reviewed several of my numerous responses to you today (what can I say -- I'm waiting for a colleague to be ready to leave), and not one instance of name-calling among them.
Bingo! And with Hank, I've no more room for another racist in my life.
I'll admit, it was a nice touch to add that we make good pizza and are dumb enough to fuck even you.
Say hello to Hank at the next meeting. He's the one whose sheet has little race cars on it.

My sheet has green, white, and red stripes. Coincidence? I think not.

Your posts to me contain plenty of name calling and derogatory references. And not just today.
