Alright... We'll be in SF this weekend. Other than some Friday night client plans, we'll generally be around and available for drinks/food. Any plan?
Also any recommendations for what we should do/see would be good. No real plans to rent a car and leave SF, but we'd like to see whatever we should see while we are in the city.

Hire a limo to Muir woods. These guys will all say don't see Alcatraz, but you should see Alcatraz. And don't drink too much.

Don't do Alcatraz. Fisherman's Wharf will take you about 10 minutes. There you will see the wholesale slaughter of innocent crabs. And plenty of slow walking tourists.
Walking through Haight is more fun. You can see where the hippie chicks invented spinning.
Union Square will take you about 10 minutes.
Chinatown will take about 10 minutes.
Ferry Terminal.
GG Bridge.
GG Park.
You are obligated, as an official tourist, to ride the cable cars. And wave to strangers who could not care less about you on the cable car.
If you so desire, you could take the Bart to Berkeley - but why?
Bring a coat.

Just an FYI, Gary Neuman is playing at Lefty O'Douls. I don't know if that's THE Gary Neuman who did Cars. But there it is.

Isn't that funny? VH1's 80s disc lists him as Gary Neuman. And so does the soundtrack of Nip/Tuck. But Google brings up both.

I am around, but may have some conflicts. I am going to a Scotch tasting on Friday from 6-9 (with Slave). Saturday, I am going to the SF Chron wine tasting from 1-5. If you can fit something around those, whether lunch or something Sunday (you will not want to see me Sat. night post-wine tasting), I'm there.
