I could see something a year ago, with no explanation for the change, but 1975? You think that is a flip flop?
I would be concerned if anyone didn't have inconsistencies in the things they said over such a spread of time.
I have no doubt I said things 15 years ago that would make me shake my head in disgust at myself now.
