Oooh! Oooh! I know! Because every law firm service partner has Aspergers?*
*Informal sample of SF law firms; YMMV.

He's no longer a lawyer, I thought.

Heller
In actual SF/SV news, read in the Recorder that Heller laid off 20 non-track associate/counsel nationwide. Condolences to those folks. My friends/acquaintances appear to have survived.

What do deer eat?
There is a deer in my yard. What do I offer it to keep it around.

Apparently everything my sibling's mother-in-law plants around her country house.

Having spent much time trying to keep the damn things out of my gardens, this is a funny request.
BUT, I can tell you many things they like.
Anything salty. Put up a salt lick if you like.
Underbrush. They like some cover, and when they go into open spaces keep the cover near in case it is needed.
Almost any kind of vegetable. They love lettuce, carrots, peas, raspberries, peppers and just about anything else.
Lots of different kinds of flowers, but especially things with lots of leafy green mass (astilbes, for example).
Mine, however, seem especially fond of having someone come out and chase and scream at them. Go figure.

Why? Shooting party and BBQ at your place this weekend?

Lots of tender vegetation. Flowers, vegetables, whatever you can pick up at a garden and spend a few hours planting in the yard. Are you fattening it up for something?

Shape Shifter has convinced me not to feed it at all. I also occurred to me that I don't want to ring the dinner bell for the cougars (they have been killing and capturing a lot of them around here lately) right in front of my door.
